Big chains have nutrition teams and recipe databases. Independent cafés, pubs and takeaways have a folder behind the till and a busy Saturday. Fourteen is for them.
Fourteen is made in the UK by Highfold Group, which builds focused, fairly priced tools for small businesses. We started Fourteen because keeping allergen information right is genuinely hard when suppliers change, specials come and go, and the person who wrote the matrix left in the spring.
What we believe
- Accuracy beats decoration. We never call a dish safe. If its ingredients haven’t been entered, the menu says “ask a member of staff”, and when a plan ends the menu goes offline rather than staying up out of date.
- Software supports the conversation. It doesn’t replace it. Every Fourteen menu, sign and matrix prompts customers to talk to you.
- Fair, simple pricing. Build your menu free, a free trial before your first payment, no contracts, and reminders before any annual renewal.
- Self-serve, start to finish. Most venues set themselves up in about ten minutes, and bigger menus come in from a spreadsheet. Plans, billing, your login email and your data are all on your account page.
- Your data is yours. Export your dishes to a spreadsheet any time; delete your account in one step.
